Background

Comsiant was founded in 1999 as a limited company. It was created to provide clients with a comprehensive service for e-business development. The breadth of experience in system development of the founding team meant that Comsiant was never just another web company. Rather, Comsiant is an E-Business consultancy capable of offering advice and guidance on strategy through to developing effective solutions and then hosting those solutions as required.

Practising what we preach!

They say that 'proof of the pudding is in the eating'. And so from the outset, Comsiant was itself contructed as an e-business . It is a truly distributed company with remote operations and teleworking as integral parts of its success. We have a corporate-wide intranet based on our own Tri-Portal technology and that provides our shared virtual working space for documents, calendaring, discussions and newsboards. Virtually all 'correspondence' with our clients is through email. Our consultants use and indeed rely on mobile communications as integral to their working day.

Consequently, when it comes to E-Business, when it comes to business process re-engineering, when it comes to exploiting technology for real business benefit, Comsiant has first hand experience.
